Jack Gillean
Jack is an adult psychiatrist with a diverse background in mental health care. He currently manages a small private practice with a focus on ketamine-assisted psychotherapy. He originally hails from Arkansas where he received his medical training before moving to Philadelphia for psychiatry residency at Drexel University/Hahnemann Hospital. In the years since he graduated, he has worked in a variety of psychiatric settings including the Philadelphia prison system offering treatment to incarcerated individuals, the community mental health center in Denver, and a large group practice providing transcranial magnetic stimulation for many years. He sought intensive training in ketamine-assisted psychotherapy through the Ketamine Training Center in September, 2021 and worked closely with Phil Wolfson at the Center for Transformational Psychotherapy through the end of 2022 before transitioning full-time to his current private practice setting in Oakland, CA. Jack is an avid climber and is likely to be found at the local climbing gym or exploring in the mountains when he isn't helping others explore inwards.
